About Essential Oils

I LOVE essential oils. I use them for home, beauty and healing purposes. Most of all oils have anti bacterial properties. They are all natural and versatile. But one should always use them with caution. Some of them need to be diluted with a carrier oil like fractionated coconut.
I used to buy DoTerra oils, but after doing some research. I have found a better and more economical essential oils company. Rocky Mountain oils, which have merged with Native American Nutritionals. They both have their own websites. But if you order from either, you will get the same quality oils. Their oils are much better quality and cost is much cheaper than the MLM oil companies, including shipping too. Rocky Mountain oils have promos throughout the year that offer free shipping and other discounts. So I usually try to take advantage of those deals.

My favorite oils so far are:

Lemon: I add it to my laundry, make a linen spray, to disinfect around the hom and  I diffuse it into the air.

Citrus blend: I add this oil to my homemade spray deodorant, to make a perfume and I like to diffuse it in the air.

Lavender: The do it all extremely gentle oil; gentle enough for a baby. I love to diffuse it into the air, rub it on cuts, bites, place a few drop on our pillow at night.

Peppermint: This oil is on the stronger side, so if you are going to put it on your skin, start with a drop, or just dilute with a carrier oil. I love this oil to add a cooling feeling to my neck when it's hot out. I also like to spray it around the house to scare off bugs, like spiders.

Rose hip oil: I use it for a face anti wrinkle in a serum I bought from Aura Cacia.

Frankincense: An amazing & precious healing oil. A little more on the expensive side, but so worth it. It has been use since pre-Christ days for healing. It also has anti-wrinkle properties. We are currently using it to treat my husband's stomach ulcer.
